As parents of 3 children we found it difficult to locate a reliable, caring and trustworthy babysitter in our area. Upon speaking with many families we found this to be a common problem, with most parents unsure of how to find the carer that is right for their needs. We also came to the realisation that it is just as difficult for babysitters and to promote themselves and assure parents that they are the right person to be caring for their children.

 

This is why we chose to start Babysitters R Us and offer parents and carers the opportunity to find each other through one central agency. We act as the middle man between parents who are searching for a babysitter, and the carers who are looking for work.

 

Babysitters R Us offer parents the opportunity to reclaim their social life, attend work functions, celebrate someone’s wedding or just have a relaxing night off. We also provide Mother’s Help which can be useful during those busy times when you need an extra pair of hands to share the load – like a child’s birthday party.

 

Babysitters R Us is a babysitting agency that matches the carer to your requirements, you simply tell us what you want in a carer and we can make a recommendation – alternatively, all of our babysitters have an online profile for you to browse and make your own selection.

 

We understand that it can be a nervous and anxious experience leaving your precious children in the hands of a virtual stranger. Many parents may also feel a little uncomfortable about leaving a stranger unattended in their family home. That is why we have set in place a rigorous process to determine each of our carer’s suitability to enter your home and provide a high level of care for your children.

 

 

All of our carers are required to have:

·        a current National Police Check with a clear criminal record (or equivalent checks)

·        current first aid training

·        experience with childcare

·        current identification

·        and at least 2 verbal references

 

 

All references are checked thoroughly so we are confident that only honest, reliable, dedicated and experienced carers are registered with Babysitters R Us.

 

We also personally interview each babysitter to ensure that our carers are warm, fun and have a genuine desire to work with children. We look at each babysitter as a potential carer for our own children and would never recommend a carer we wouldn’t hire ourselves. We want you to leave home without worrying!
